Hemsworth to Play Dementus in Upcoming Film

Chris Hemsworth and Anya Taylor-Joy are set to star in the upcoming Mad Max prequel Furiosa, directed by George Miller. Hemsworth will play Dementus, a warlord who rules over a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Taylor-Joy will play the titular character, a young woman who must fight for survival in the harsh and unforgiving world.

Furiosa is set long before the events of Mad Max: Fury Road, and will explore the backstory of the character played by Charlize Theron in the 2015 film. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters in 2024.

Hemsworth Steals the Spotlight as Dementus
